What is homeopathy?
• Homeopathy is a gentle, natural and complete system of
healthcare.
• It has a long history of practice and can work independently
or complementary way to conventional medicine.
• It is a solution to the overuse of antibiotics, as it
stimulates the immune system in a very subtle manner.
• Homeopaths prescribe remedies made from the healing properties
of plants, animals and minerals. They are non toxic prepared in
minute amounts using a method of high dilution.

• It is safe, natural, non invasive with no side effects.
• Drugs and surgery will always be necessary with some childhood
conditions. It can be used as a safe option to ease symptoms or
recovery, even if other medication is used.

What does Homeopathy offer?
Many conditions can be treated effectively. It would not be
impossible to list them all. Many childhood conditions such as
asthma, eczema, coughs, colds, digestive and bowel conditions,
periods problems as well as conditions related to menopause,
stress related problems, heart conditions, depression and
anxiety. It is safe to use during pregnancy and childbirth. It
can also be used to support the side effects of chemotherapy and
radiation.
Profile
I am a fourth year student in the Galway College of Homeopathy.
As part of my training I take cases under the supervision of a
qualified homeopath. As I am looking for more cases to qualify,
it is a cheaper option for people who cannot afford a qualified
homeopath. You also get care, experience and knowledge of both
trainee and registered homeopath.
