The De-Odor RodTM contains naturally selected ionic minerals which are uniquely effective in attracting and absorbing ammonia and bacterial gases caused by urine, waste and other odors in medical, commercial, industrial and residential settings. The De-Odor Rod collects and absorbs odors and bacterial gases at the source rather than masking odors. Ideal applications are soiled utility rooms, patient rooms, soiled containers, garbage containers and bathroom. The De-Odor RodsTM safely stops odor at the source before it has the chance to spread througout the facility.
 
Ionic Action
Odors are contaminated gaseous fumes. This is primarily moisture that clings to airborne particles which have a positive molecular ion charge. Ionic action takes place when positive ions and negative ions attract one another. Therefore the positive charged molecules (carrying the odors) are attraced to the negative charged mineral, EnviroliteTM, and locked inside the De-Odor RodTM. The De-Odor Rod's effectiveness can be renewed approximately every 30 days be placing it in sunlight for one or more days. With proper charging this product will last one year or longer.
