Update : Thursday 30-Sep

N17 / Weir Rd junction is being resurfaced on Friday morning (1-Oct).
The N17 will be fully open to traffic (two way) by lunchtime on Friday.
 
Vicar St will be open to traffic by 4:00 PM Friday (1-Oct).

 

Work Started - 14-Apr-2010
Parking restrictions on lower High St from 14-Apr due to trial trenches being dug.
Stop & Go traffic management in operation....  expect delays.

Contract Signed - 5-Feb-2010
The digging up of the town will begin within the next six weeks and will cause major disruption and calls have been made to try and facilitate the traffic flow through Tuam.
